Here comes another round of Cumulative Time Zone Updates for Windows in December 2009: KB976098. Like with the previous Cumulative Time Zone/Daylight Saving Time patch, this new one is optional but can also be found on Microsoft Update/Windows Update.

    1. This one came in with my other November Updates. No need for a special run for it.

    2. Though it was unusual for Microsoft to call them “December 2009 Cumulative Time Zone Updates” when in fact they were released in late November, rc primak.

I’m beginning to see a pattern of how often Microsoft releases newer Cumulative Time Zone/Daylight Saving Time updates for Windows. They’re starting to release them about every August and December of the year.
