    1. Ever since I have downloaded the new Firefox this am, my browser is opening very, very slow.
      Any suggestions?

    2. I’ve found it slow to load too but what’s worst it won’t close!!!! Closing the program appears to work but if you go into Task Manager you find firefox.exe gobbling up 99% of the CPU cycles. You have to use Task Manager to close the firefox.exe process.

    3. Try clearing out the IE Temporary cache. This has been mentioned on another tech board I was on somewhere within last coupkle of days.

    4. My browser is opening so slowly. It is driving me crazy!

      Anyone know what to do?

    5. Sometimes removing the old version and doing a clean download of the new version so as to get a clean install can help with these issues. Sometimes. Don’t forget to delete your old Profile data.

    6. good sound advice from rc primak. it would be best to uninstall firefox 3.0.x and the user profile for ff 3.0x and then install firefox 3.5 and create a brand new user profile for that version.

an upcoming Firefox 3.5.1 release will be available several weeks from now.

    7. To preserve your settings and Add-ons from your existing Firefox, you might want to use the Firefox FEBE Extension, which makes an Export Folder. That way you can restore (import) what you had without downloading all those Add-ons all over again. And if some Add-ons don’t work anymore, they can simply be deleted from within the FEBE Export Folder. With a little practice it’s easy. FEBE is also a good way to share Firefox configurations between users, or even over the Internet.
