CNet News expects Firefox 3.6 to be released to the public this Spring, possibly around April 2010. Did yo9u folks read Randall Kennedy’s blog at Infoworld.com? He declares that “Firefox is Doomed”. Fun stuff, if you don’t take RCK too seriously. Especially the Comments from the Firefox fanboys.

Woody
I finally made the plunge – why was I so reluctant? – and got Chrome. Been zooming around for the past half an hour with absolutely no problems. The speed! It’s like being back on Ritalin! And it looks cool too.
Do you have any specific recommendations about the settings etc? All I’ve changed is the data mining thing.
Thanks for your advice about changing browsers, though it took me 6 months and a recent malware scare to follow it!

I haven’t used Chrome enough to gather any significant advice. Perhaps somebody else who’s reading has a bag of tricks????
