   If MS *did* manage to swallow up Adobe, it’d further fracture the Internet. At the moment, both Apple and MS are actively pushing away from using Adobe Flash, and embracing HTML 5 to replace it– and Apple is famously avoiding letting Flash apps run on its iPad, etc.

   So if MS starts suddenly pulling FOR Adobe Flash, Apple will no doubt redouble its efforts to marginalize Flash… leaving web designers in the middle, scratching their heads, wondering which standard is… ummm… “standard”.
