   I’ve said it before, but this bear repeating:

   1) Always have a local copy of any data you entrust to a Cloud Application, and have a Program which can at least open as read-only the filetypes you are using.

   2) Back up your local data regularly. Most Companies do this as a matter of routine, but too many individuals do not back up e-mail regularly, if at all.

   This having been said, I feel an urge to point out that I am a paid Yahoo user with the Eudora/Thunderbird Client. No problems there lately!

   I feel bad for those Hotmail users who have lost their email messages recently, even though my Hotmail account has not been affected; I still have all my Hotmail email messages intact as I’ve checked lately.

   How could Microsoft let this happen?
