IE 8 and IE 9 now getting pushed

I certainly hope all of you folks upgraded to IE 8 (for XP) or IE 9 (for Vista, Win7,) or IE 10 (Win8) months ago.
I, personally, use Chrome most of the time, Firefox to get to secure sites, and IE on occasion. They’re all excellent. Really.

“Firefox for secure sites”, rather than Chrome? There really isn’t any security advantage to either Firefox or Chrome over IE8, IE9 or IE10 these days, but more to the point, Chrome has scored better at preventing security issues than Firefox last I read about the subject. Is there something I’ve missed here?
I respect the privacy concerns about using Chrome, but this is separate from hard-core security, as one would want for banking or e-Commerce.

I’ve found that LastPass works better with FF than Chrome. That’s the primary reason for using FF.

OK, fair enough.

speaking of Firefox, version 10 of Mozilla’s infamous web browser has recently came out.
and Google had released an updated version of Chrome 16 to resolve recent security problems.
also, Opera 11.61 was also released about a week ago to fix new security bugs.
XP/Vista/Seven users should do more than just update to IE8 or IE9. update Firefox, Chrome or Opera as well.

Thanks, EP. One of my updater programs has been bugging me to upgrade Firefox to 10 on my Windows XP laptop, so I guess now is the time to give in and do it. Last I checked, FF 10 was still beta, but I guess it just went public.
Already got the silent update for Chrome. I like Chrome’s silent updates. But I wouldn’t want them in Firefox, just in case something is not compatible.
