Wonder what that KB 2969339 patch waiting for your Windows 8.1 machine is all about?

    I do, too.

    1. Woody,

Since KB2969339 is presumably intended to remedy issues affecting Win 8.1 Update installation, should I still install it even though I was able (thankfully!) to install the 8.1 Update without incident? I don’t want to fix something that’s not broken!

      Thanks, James

      If it’s checked, install it.

If it isn’t checked, don’t tempt Mother Nature…

    3. Woody,

KB2969339 is supposed to patch the 8.1 update. Would it be a good idea to download & install it first and then get the 8.1 update, or do you have to get the update first, or does it really matter?

      Thanks,

      Scott

    4. @Scott -

Yes, it matters, and Windows Update should handle it for you.

If you want to install 2919355 manually, apply 2969339 first.
