    I’m baaaaaaaaaack.

After a long hiatus, I’m very happy to say that I’m back writing for my favorite newsletter, Windows Secrets, and working with two of my favorite writers, Brian Livingston and Paul Thurrott.

This week’s issue of Windows Secrets Newsletter tracks the sad tale of the ZoneAlarm 6.0 firewall, which just didn’t live up to Zone Lab’s hard-earned reputation, and ZoneAlarm’s recent improvements, which put 6.0 back up at the top of the firewall list. It’s an important story for anyone who’s willing to venture beyond the one-way Windows Firewall.

In that same issue, I talk about the new iTunes – things that every iPod user should know about their tenuous link with the PC world.

Drop by and try the free version of Windows Secrets newsletter. If you like it, move up to the paid version. How much does the paid version cost? That depends entirely on you – give what you can, what you think it’s worth. I like that approach.

It’s great to be back in the saddle again, and to be working with a bevy of extraordinarily talented folks. Stay tuned.
