Normally paypal goes through just fine but if you are having issues, try this:

To renew your subscription using PayPal:

1. Log in at askwoody.com

2. Go to your Account > PayPal Payments

     You should see an email listed here – delete that, even if it’s the email you want to use for PayPal.

3. Go back to https://www.askwoody.com/complete-registration/ if you’ve already started a new subscription

     Or, go to https://www.askwoody.com/plus-membership/ to start over

4. Check out as usual.

Just a suggestion, but perhaps the Plus Membership FAQ at https://www.askwoody.com/product/plus-membership/ should be updated to note that the minimum donation amount to become a Plus member is now $6 USD per Susan Bradley’s 28-Nov-2022 announcement <here>.

Those are good questions, but the real issue is, how do we all keep this site alive and going?

Woody doesn’t currently do auto-renew.  So I suggest doing as I do — whenever you find some particularly great content that you know you could never get anywhere else, use the method mentioned in Kirsty’s post above – go to:

So for those with a lifetime subscription, it’s still possible for them to contribute to keep the site afloat that way 🙂
