I have a sheet which brings in a few URL columns from an Access query. Upon refresh after adding records to Access, the URLs are wrapped in ‘#’ in Excel. Example:

Access table has new record incl field
    https://forums.windowssecrets.com

    Refresh in Excel results in
    #https://forums.windowssecrets.com#

Is there some simple reason/setting for this?

It’s not a big deal. Happily # does not appear elsewhere on the sheet, so a quick global replace gets rid of them. Just curious, didn’t find anything via external search.

    Lugh.
