Command line tools to check the status of Bitlocker encryption
Type in search box, cmd and right mouse click on run as administrator
To check on the status of BitLocker:
manage-bde -status Provides the status of BitLocker
manage-bde off Decrypts the drive and turns off BitLocker. All key protectors are removed when decryption is complete.
manage-bde pause Pauses encryption or decryption.
manage-bde changepassword Modifies the password for a data drive.
