I solved the Cortana’s SearchUI.exe memory/CPU spike bug by renaming “SearchUI.exe” to (SearchUI.exe.old). System now runs fine, no more wasted cpu/memory, and all searches functionalities remains intact.
Problem is, an SFC /scan will repair it, thus bringing the bug back.
[Question]: Is there a way to add exclusion to the list of system file integrity files list ? (at least for sfc.exe)
