Just noticed something strange, or at least I don’t recall it quite worked like that before…

In Windows Update options, in Advanced, you can defer updates for max 35 days, that’s good and well and I always defer the max when finished updating.

Yesterday, I decided to check updates as the limit I set last month is coming to a close and before the next update is released. Planned to update on Sunday.

Then I noticed something something strange, the ‘Pause Updates, could be toggled to ‘Friday, January 7, 2022’. Did the PC update in my absence? At least it hadn’t restarted, that I know for sure. Anyway, I set the new limit to the max, January 7th.

Today, decided to check to be sure, and noticed, I could increase the date to January 8th.

    Was it always like this?
