Does anyone who keeps up with the subject think that either of these technologies (perhaps combined together) is worth buying yet?
I presume that Pre-N relates to where naughty manufacturers have brought out hardware in advance of the official “N” standard, whereas MIMO is an improvement on current technology. By chance I came across a review of a MIMO Netgear router in the usual “sardine tin” format (the router, not the review!).
One of the downsides seems to be the price of the corresponding wireless cards to fit in desktop or laptop…
