I ask because about two months ago, I starting using Thunderbird and it does a good job in accessing my ATT/Yahoo e-mail. But, it cannot access my ATT/Yahoo contacts and ATT/Yahoo calendar dynamically.

I exported my contacts from ATT/Yahoo and imported them to Thunderbird, but it is a static list and does not change as the ATT/Yahoo contacts change. I’d like to know how to get them to sync dynamically (i.e., without using the Address Book I imported).

I haven’t even tried to export my calendar from ATT/Yahoo and importing it to Thunderbird, because, like the contacts, it would be a static calendar and thus not very useful. I’d like for the calendar to sync dynamically, too. I’ve yet to learn the correct URL for the ATT/Yahoo calendar server.

So, if there is anyone out there who has successfully synced their ATT/Yahoo contacts and/or their ATT/Yahoo calendar with Thunderbird, I’d like to know how you did it.

The TBsync add-on seems to do it via CardDAV.

      or maybe

I have been wondering how to do this since I realized neither microsoft calendar (did not save old appointments) nor Google calendar (just don’t trust google not to deprecate things) would suit me. This link was from the link Paul gave.

Just because you don't know where you are going doesn't mean any road will get you there.

Do you use the Yahoo calendar? Have you tried the add-on? I looked at the add-on description at Paul’s link, but I didn’t see that it would work with TB 102+

I have MS calendar and now google my TB is ver 60 so maybe not a good example.
          My reply got squashed.
