Asus rolling out Windows 11 support on LGA1151 Intel 6th & 7th gen Skylake/ Kaby Lake CPUs

Asus has kept its promise it seems and has started rolling out Windows 11-compatible firmware, at least for its Z270 series motherboards for Intel 6th and 7th gen processors. The company had earlier released a list of motherboard chipsets that according to it already had the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 module and technically should be able to run Windows 11….

Wonder if Asus knows something we do not.

still waiting for ASUS to issue Win11 compatible BIOS/firmware to Z170 (not Z270) boards which Asus has NOT done after Windows 11 was officially released several days ago on October 5.

so far, ASUS has left Z170 motherboard users hanging out to dry

What sort of Windows 11 compatibly have 6th & 7th gen Intel CPUs if minimum requirement is 8th gen CPU ?
