Background picture not invoked @ startup

I have a new Dell Precision 3440 desktop. Besides the line of business software (C2R Office, Quickbooks, Intuit tax software)  that I have installed I am using Start11 to customize the start menu and task bar. Specs are:

The issue I am having is at the startup. I hear a few beeps in the background (not like the POST beeps we used to get) and the lock screen comes up. After entering the PW (Local account) the desktop comes up with a solid color background not the picture of Saturn with its moons taken by the JWST. I can get it on the desktop by right clicking, choosing personalize, background, and clicking on the recent image in the list. This is annoying.

This behavior is new within the last week although the workstation has been running since August 29.

Any thoughts?

Try putting that image’s file in your profile’s “Pictures” folder. Then go through the same personalization steps you’ve done before but, THIS time, point Windows to the file located in your Pictures folder. That’s what’s worked for me to be able to use 6 images that were default images in Windows 7 in my Windows 10 installation. I would hope that the same thing would work in Windows 11.

I dunno about Windows 11, but on Windows 10, the Pictures folder for a person’s profile is located (by default) at \Users\(your user name)\Pictures on the same drive as the installation of Windows.
