Early report in that the Bing Ads targeting Google Chrome on Windows has been withdrawn by microsoft.

Google is involved in similar tactics, and users often see recommendations to use Chrome when they browse YouTube, Gmail and other services using Microsoft Edge.

I’m using Windows 10 22H2 with Chrome 116.0.5845.111 and a search of my main OS drive and the registry didn’t find the bgaupdate.exe nor bgaupsell.exe files referred to in those articles.
