Can you use WUShowHide on Windows 11 version 21H2?

After reading Susan’s latest article on WUShowHide, I tried downloading it and got a message that the download was blocked on my laptop.

2 questions:

Can it be used on my W11 PC?

If so, how do I get around the blocking of the download?

wushowhide.diagcab works on Win7, Win8.1, Win10, and Win11.

There is a link in AKB2000016, Section 1 (blue link). See it that works for you to download. It is safe for you to download if you tell the browser to download anyway.

When I click on the link in your referenced posting (AKB2000016), I get the same “Your download was blocked . . .). I don’t get any option to go ahead anyway.  I am on the newer version of Edge and use MalwareBytes Pro.

Um, never with MS Edge Chromium

But wushowhide.diagcab downloads fine without problems in latest Google Chrome browser on my end.

Ditto for other chromium based browsers like Opera, Vivaldi & maybe Brave as it downloads fine in those browsers

All you need to do when a download is blocked in Edge is use the ellipsis on the block message (the three little dots) and tell Edge to keep it.
