Cannot install June 8 Update

I’m currently running 2004, x64, Pro with the May 2021 update: 19041.928

I just downloaded the June 8 Cumulative Update –

KB5003637 (OS Builds 19041.1052, 19042.1052, and 19043.1052) with this file name:

windows10.0-kb5003637-x64_fd175a387e2f07586d85899a75d0bf10120a3c2c.msu

However, when I try to install the update, I get an error message, “This update is not applicable to your computer”

Help??  Ideas??  🙂   Thanks

Run WUmgr Check for updates. Hide updates you don’t want to install. Install KB5003637 directly in WUmgr.

It means one of two things – either you don’t have a prerequisite or you already have that patch (or a later patch) installed and you no longer need that update.

Thanks, Susan.  Turns out I missed the May 11 update.  Silly me for thinking the June update was truly “Cumulative”.  🙂

If I am not wrong the build 19041.928 is at patch level April 13, 2021 CU KB5001330. There is a prequisite to install the May 11, 2021 update (KB5003173) before you install the latest cumulative update according to :

This might have to do with the SSU that is required and bundled within May 11, 2021 CU KB5003173.

Perhaps a case of getting the ducks in a row for those manually installing CUs?

Thanks…I wasn’t aware of this tool.  It made it very easy to see what updates I did –and did not– have installed.
