I’m guessing, but think that I have been unable to update Win 10 pro from 21H2 to 22H2 because of a problem with .net updates, specifically 2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 21H2 for x64 (KB5022728). The status is always “Download error – 0x800700c1”

I remember that Susan offered a patch for blocking the 21H2 update and another patch reversing this. I have used both, so presume this is not at fault. I have also looked in the registry for Windows update and made sure that it was set to product version Windows 10 and target release version 22H2 (the other items I don’t understand, so left alone).

I have also downloaded KB5022728 for a direct update of .net, with no luck (not applicable to my computer comment).

I also tried updating with a current iso file from Microsoft’s web site.

All made no difference. Any suggestions? Any help will really be appreciated!

What is the exact error message you are getting when you use the ISO download method?

      What antivirus?

And have you tried deleting the software distribution folder?
