This has been going on for a week to 10 days, I think.

        So far, I have:

        1. Bought a new Bluetooth transceiver.
        2. Done a System Restore back to the most recent Windows Update.
        3. Uninstalled the Bluetooth device in Device Manager repeatedly. Followed by cold reboot.
        4. Restarted the Bluetooth service(s) in Services.
        5. Uninstalled 3 instances of “Bluetooth Peripheral Device” under “Other devices” in Device Manager. (They come back every time.)
        6. Used many bad words.

All to no avail whatsoever. At this point, I’m staring at doing a Reset and spending 3 days reinstalling programs unless someone has a better idea. The reset probably wouldn’t be a bad thing in the long run, but it’s a PITA, y’know?
