Combo box fails to find records on form

Access version:  Professional Plus 2013.

After copying my database to a new user’s laptop, record-finding on multiple forms did not work.  In these cases the combo box designed to find the selected record did not change the record displayed.  Access record controls at bottom of form still worked but defeats the purpose of an sequenced drop list.  The original database (not the copy) continues to work as designed.

What could account for this anomaly?

The combo box in question was created by the wizard and resulted in a macro as shown below/on attachment. Are there actions that an organization might take when configuring computer equipment that might undermine the use of this combo box to find a record on the form?
