    Is there anyway to stop the user`s name coming up in the comment box? I am the only user and I only need a one word comment or a cheque number after I delete the name.

      Options

      The user name in the comment is taken from Tools, Options, General , User name field. Remove your user name and there you go, … Except I believe the comment box will still set aside space for your non-existent name.
