It doesn’t seem that I can select user and then use the fingerprint reader to login. How does Windows know which user is logging in?

It would seem that the first use of the fingerprint gets the first nod at log in, which would be your Admin account.  My suggestion is to change fingers for the other account and see if that makes a difference.

If I use the PIN sign in option I have different PINs and I get the correct user.

I use PIN log in also, and the same PIN for two accounts, but there is no confusion for Windows using that setup.

Always create a fresh drive image before making system changes/Windows updates; you may need to start over!
We were all once "Average Users". We all have our own reasons for doing the things that we do with our systems, we don't need anyone's approval, and we don't all have to do the same things.

        Thanks bbearren,

It would seem that the first use of the fingerprint gets the first nod at log in, which would be your Admin account.

Not in my case. The new account gets logged in.  I’m still wondering about how Windows works here.  If I select the admin user – user name displayed in the middle of the screen – and I select fingerprint as sign in option. My other user is logged in…

I’ve set the accounts up using different fingers and it works without problems.
