For an unknown reason, a week ago when I attempted to send email, they all came back with the message that they were undeliverable. Not because of the recipient’s server, but because they couldn’t find the address. The error message was instant after sending so it has to be with Outlook. Upon looking at the properties of the contacts I noticed that none were set to SMTP which they should have. Instead they were set to personal, business, etc. With several hundred contacts changes each one back to SMTP was going to be time consuming. A few I did change reverted back to personal, business, etc. Any ideas what may have changed and how to do a global change to get them back to SMTP?

        What version of Outlook?
Contacts should have an actual email address despite being personal, business etc. If you edit the contact does it show an address in the form

        cheers, Paul
