• Cookie Security Alert: pre-click

I am using IE more and Netscape less, and am unhappy with the cookie alert dialog. I accept session cookies, but I often reject persistent cookies. Netscape has a checkbox to auto-reject “third party” cookies, such as DoubleClick’s. IE doesn’t, but I could live with that if IE’s dialog box showed the source of the cookie. It does, but only if you first click More Info. So this is all an enormous waste of time. Question: (1) is there a registry hack to pre-open the More Info panel? (none found in the knowledge base); if not, (2) what is your favorite cookie management/ad blocking software?
