Following the directions from Susan Bradley, that it is time to update I have both a laptop
and a Desktop with Windows 10 Pro 1909.  I also have mine setup to avoid regular updates,
        as prescribed by Susan.
On the laptop I tried using a .ISO file of 2004 and after hours of downloading it indicated ‘not appropriate for my computer’??
On the desktop I went to Microsoft Catalog and downloaded, as I have done before and it worked, the Service update and the Cumulative update.
I first tried installing the Service update but it indicated that it was not appropriate for my system??
I cannot understand where I am making a wrong turn given that I have done updates in the past without issues??

        Help!!

We need to know exactly how you attempted to update.

Did you follow the instructions here?

        Missed version 2004

        cheers, Paul
