Have you compared Brave’s logo and ING bank’s?

      Slightly confusing, isn’t it?

To make Edge always open in private mode:

      1. Right click the Edge icon to open its Properties screen.
      2. In the “Target:” box, append “-inprivate”. The box now has:

      “C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe” -inprivate

When I open private browsing, the icon for private bookmarks is not there. If I look in add ons, the private bookmarks add on is there and turned on. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can find them?

Which browser are you referring to in your post above? The reason I ask is because you didn’t name the browser you’re using in your post. Once we know which browser you’re referring to/using, we can then help you out with the correct answer.

      Brave:

      Version 1.37.109 Chromium: 100.0.4896.60 (Official Build) (64-bit)

This version of Brave has “New Private Window” option available by right clicking on the Brave icon

When I turned on Private Browsing according the the instructions for doing so for Firefox, I discovered that the Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension and the Facebook Container extension are not allowed in Private Windows. Can this be overcome by setting something somewhere? If not, what is the rationale for this?

For me, the most interesting item was Window’s Brave browser – New private browser with Tor.

In iPad’s Brave browser, I do not see this feature.

I also learn about Firefox’s “Always use private browsing mode” whereas I start in Private mode and set History to “Never remember history”; will experiment with History’s Private browsing mode.

Surfing in ‘private’ mode does not shield you from fingerprinting, so if you don’t have that covered as well, it has little use.
