MS-DEFCON 2:
Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it.

GuestI am using windows 10 home 64 bit on my new computer and need help in the correct way to download a new program from a disk to my hard drive. After I have loaded the disk onto my computer I do not get and icon asking just what the the computer is to do. When loading a new disk on my old computer using windows 8.1 I would get a message asking me what the computer should do. I would click on load program and it was loaded. On my new computer I can not tell if program is loaded and no icon on the computer for the new program. Where should I find this icon so that I can load the new program? Help?? Thanks Gerald

AskWoody MVPOpen Windows Explorer.
Navigate to the DVD.
Double click on the program to install it.
Right click and copy of you want to copy it to your hard disk – you probably don’t need to do this.If you are still unsure, take a screenshot of the file listing in Explorer.
To take a screenshot
Run Snip n Sketch (built-in to Windows)
Take the screenshot
Save as PNG
Upload here using the “Select File” button below the post edit window.cheers, Paul
