I just noticed that I am getting the above !Error in my Event Viewer daily.  Something about MDM Declared Configuration.

I am a home user with stand alone system.

Going back in time, it appears this !Error began showing up the day after I updated my system with the November CU  KB5019959.

Other than the Event log, I don’t seem to have any issues with subsequent updates, and SFC says all is OK.

Any ideas what this is and how to get rid of it?  I have a pretty vanilla system and do not use One Drive.

I have the exact same problem and the same circumstances. I read somewhere that the error only applies to educational and enterprise versions of Windows 10,but my version is Windows 10 Home 22H2. It appears that Microsoft is aware of the problem introduced by that update, but doesn’t regard it as a priority to fix immediately; so I guess that they will get around to it eventually (maybe).

When I’ve seen issues like this, there’s some hardware that is triggering the event but it’s not causing an issue other than annoying you in the event log.  Ultimately Microsoft will fix it, but for now you’ll have to live with it.

      Hi Tex265:

See  Zaphyrus’s 10-Nov-2022 Side effect of November update: DevicemanagemententerpriseDiagnosticProvider for more information. I just checked the Event Viewer in my Win 10 Pro v22H2 laptop at Applications and Services Logs | Microsoft | Windows | DeviceManagement-Enterprise-Diagnostics-Provider | Admin and confirmed I’m getting still getting these errors on a daily basis. As Susan said in post # 2562821, this appears to be an annoying but harmless bug.

I submitted feedback about this error to Microsoft on 14-Nov-2022 at https://aka.ms/AAipdn3 via their Feedback Hub app but have no idea if Microsoft is currently working on a bug fix.

I’ve also subscribed to DonT5’s 27-Oct-2022 Event 2545 “Microsoft-Windows-DeviceManagement-Enterprise-Diagnostics-Provider” in the MS Answers forum. Over 330 users have clicked “I have the same problem” in the original post of that thread and it seems to be the most active thread on this topic in the MS Answers forum, so if Microsoft ever does release a bug fix I expect that someone will post about it there.
