My user has developed a report which she wishes to transfer to a .rtf format. Within the report are 2 images which she sources from her hard drive. She wishes these to appear on the new .rtf file, but when the file is generated they do not appear. On the design grid the Edit/OLE/DDE Links option is greyed out. How do I get them to appear on her new .rtf document in Word? Thanks.

You have come up against one of the big annoyances in Access. Exporting a report to .rtf is crummy; all graphics are lost.

      Alternatives:
      – Export as snapshot (the person viewing the report needs to have the Snapshot Viewer, a free download from Microsoft).
      – Mailmerge to Word.
      – Build a report in Word using code.
      – PDF ?

Guess it will have to be mailmerge. Thanks as always Hans.
