What settings to use and where to attach the cables for in and out for a Zelot speaker?

Back side top left, the green jack is common for output to speakers.  The common styles of speakers have no input to the computer but usually the pink jack is for a microphone.

Before you wonder "Am I doing things right," ask "Am I doing the right things?"

As @berton mentioned the Green Jack is normally the one you need to look for, normally Windows finds and adjusts normally for external speakers, if you have any special Software features to go with your sound devices such as a Graphical Equalizer, 3d Sound etc now’s a good time to install it. Then just right click on the Sound Icon in the task bar Win’s 7 to 10 for advanced options such as preferences, defaults etc as below and you should be good to go.
