        According to the DHS:

“The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) are issuing this announcement to raise awareness of the potential threat posed by attempts to spread disinformation regarding cyberattacks on U.S. voter registration databases or voting systems.”

Thanks. Government-sponsored cyber-attacks on the democratic voting processes of other nations are a serious worry. I hope government organizations with the necessary resources and skilled personnel, perhaps the FBI and, or the CISA in the USA, for example, are carrying out frequent audits and stress tests of the security measures in place in sensitive government data bases, computers and data transfer systems, as a result of which the protections in place are kept up to date and equal to the task. I would also like to read informed comments on this “protection” aspect posted, as appropriate,  either in this or in some other thread. This serious topic merits serious discussion.
