      Win 7- no such update for IE appearing in Windows update as of today.

        Same here. I have the 2019-10-02 ie11-windows6.1-kb4524135-x64.msu installed. It is the bit-for-bit the same as the 2019-10-04 ie11-windows6.1-kb4524135-x64.msu which was released two days later.

      Unfortunately between the time the ok was given to do the September 2019 patches and when I actually got to patching 2 machines on 10/5/19, the only way to do the Sept patches included this out-of-band IE update.  A day or 2 earlier I patched several other machines where that update wasn’t included.  So I was stuck to do the patch.  All seems ok, including printing on an old HP LJ1200.
