I’ve gone through all the settings in Outlook for font sizing — View/Current View/View Settings/Other Settings and Conditional Formatting, But I cannot find what or where the setting is that shrinks the font in a message when it goes from Unread to Read.

Is there a way or setting to keep the font from shrinking as you see in the attached graphic, specifically in the “From” line?

I believe the setting is programmed into Outlook.

That said it can be changed as follows:

        1. View Tab.
        2. View Settings.
        3. Conditional Formatting.
        4. Add button.
          Change Name: box to Read
Click on Font… and select your desired font, etc.
        5. Condition… button.
        6. More Choices Tab.
        7. Check “Only items that are:”.
        8. Use dropdown to select “read”.
        9. Click OK.
        10. Click OK.

Now your read items should look like the font your selected.
Deleting the rule will return the read items back to their former, programmed in, font.

        HTH 😎
