Is it possible to forward a message that arrives at your exchange server to an Internet e-mail account like yahoo or hotmail?

I would think you could use the rules wizard to effectively do that, or am I missing something? smile

Not sure if this is what you’re after but this is what I do for our sales staff when they travel overseas.

First set your your Yahoo/Hotmail account. Then:
      1) Open Exchange Admin
      2) Click the New Custom Recipient icon
      3) Select Internet Address
      4) Fill the details of the outside account
      5) Set up forwarding to the recipient as you would to an ordinary mailbox, using the Delivery Option tab at the server console or Out of Office at the client.

depends if the admin allows forwarding to outside addresses. some block it for security reasons.

ask the admin to create a custom recipient for you, it’s the best method and bypasses the blocks.
