I used this password generator to generate an impressive looking password, but when I tried to use it, the app said “must contain at least two numeric characters”.  The generated password did not contain any numeric characters.  So I just inserted two numbers into the generated password, and then it was accepted.

Several years ago, Steve Gibson created an on-line password generator. Steve is an old-school coder who did most of his programming in assembly language. His page is very informative regarding random -vs- pseudorandom numbers that computers generate. He also shows the algorithm that he uses, so you can judge for yourself.
