      CAD is the one class of software I would have never, ever guessed had free programs.

      LibreCAD is also available on SourceForge. I gather you have a longterm relationship with OlderGeeks, but I find the SourceForge website much easier to navigate.

      AlternativeTo is a good site to figure out what’s available.  It’s my go-to standard when looking for free or at least different options.
