Last year when I replaced my 10year old laptop, I decided to use One Drive for my documents, desktop, music and a few other folders. The new device has a 500gb ssd so I figured I’d save space. That said I ran into ISP data overages between Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud my data usage went bonkers and so I decided to bring things back home using a NAS along with a drive connected to my router for storage. That said, I can’t seem to get rid of the OneDrive folder on my laptop. I unchecked all of the boxes in the OneDrive app and unlinked my PC from OneDrive. I keep trying to change the folder location back to default C:users/me/documents – instead of – C:users/me/onedrive/documents AND WINDOWS WON’T LET ME DO IT. I even tried uninstalling OneDrive and that didn’t work. I realize that it’s just a matter of the folder within an extra folder named OneDrive but it really bugs me and I’d like to return to the default location. Any suggestions?

Google is your friend.  I did a search for something like removing Win 10 builtins shortly after I moved to Win 10 and came up with https://www.howtogeek.com/224798/how-to-uninstall-windows-10s-built-in-apps-and-how-to-reinstall-them/

Scroll down a ways until you get to the portion using Powershell and a series of individual commands to be entered (copy & paste was far easier).  I used them all without regret.
