I have been using Spam Cop to report the Spam appearing in my inbox for many years.

In the past week when I submit a Spam email with its header as usual, I get back an email from Spam Cop with the usual link for reporting. However, when I click on the report-spam link in the email, I am taken to a page that starts out with the usual Spam Cop analysis but never finishes. Instead it ends with the error message:

Can’t continue parsing. DNS-server-error; Try to refresh this page later.

It never gets to the box that allows me to tell Spam Cop to submit the complaint. Refreshing later does no good.

I do not know what has changed. As a good net citizen, I would like to continue using Spam Cop. Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

The parsing is done at the SpamCop end and the error is there. You can’t do anything, except wait for them to fix it.

      cheers, Paul

Thank you. It appears you were correct, though it took over ten days for Spam Cop to fix the problem.

In the past, some problems I have encountered have been the result of unexplained bounces from my ISP so I thought there might be something amiss at my end. But I couldn’t find anything to fix in this case.

The issue has now been resolved. Thanks again.
