        Hello and Happy New Year,

Can anyone tell me how to remove the green circles with the check inside them that appear on the side of the responses from a google query?

        I am using Windows 7 64 bit SP1. IE 10.

If you have a Norton Security Suite installed, it’s probably coming from there to indicate the site is safe. Look for a Safe web option in Norton to turn it off.
You can also try clicking on the gear icon in IE, and then “Manage Add Ons” Look for something like Safe Web and disable it.

If I were you I wouldn’t disable this feature as it will warn you of sites that are likely to cause you problems w/malware, etc. It’s just another layer in a good multi-layer security plan. YMMV

I have Web Of Trust installed and get them also on searches…
While not fool proof, it does give some indication if you want to visit that site or select the next search result with a green check.
