AuthorI need some help and I’m hoping I’m in the right place.I’ve been collecting files for years (I’m 79) and they are in many folders and some folders contain many thousands of files. I’ve started sorting them and moving them to appropriate folders but it’s going to take forever.I’ve created a group of folders on another drive to transfer all the files/folders to folders named Gardening, Meditation, Health, Woodwork etc etc. What I want to do is work on 1 original folder at a time. I want to highlight all the Gardening files/folders for instance and then copy or move them to the Gardening folder.AFAIK this can’t be done in File Explorer because when I highlight the second file the highlighting disappears from the first file. Sometimes I can transfer a group of files if they are all Gardening etc but this doesn’t happen often enough. Is there a way in Windows 10 to do this or is there a utility that achieves this?To make things harder I had a stroke which affected my right side and my right hand is nearly useless. Worse luck I am right handed so using my left hand for all this is a bit of a nightmare. Here’s hoping that you have an answer or know of a utility that solves the problem.Viewing 9 reply threadsAuthorViewing 9 reply threads
