AskWoody PlusHow are folks configuring Windows Update settings with Win10 release 1909?
I just got my first Win10 PC and I’m in the process of setting it up.
This PC came with release 1909 which of course offers new options (or changes) in the settings for Windows Update.
I’ve read plenty on configuring Windows Update for releases prior to 1909. And I read Woody’s article on the option in 1909 to Pause three times (I think) to delay installing Updates for three weeks.
But I’m confused on how to configure the rest of the settings now that we have the Pause option. (I.e., I don’t see a “Semi-Annual Channel” drop down under Advanced options. I have Win10 Pro.)
I’m a long-time Group A member on Windows 7 Home Premium so I suppose I would like to adopt the Win10 approach that is most similar to that, unless there’s something better in Win10.
Thoughts or advice?
Thanks!
