        System:  Windows 10                                                                                                                                      Version:  20H2                                                                                                                                     Build:  19042.1052

When system updated from Build 19042.985 to 1052 Closed Captions now appear in all videos.  I have changed colors, transparency, background etc. with no effect.  Captions still appear in bright yellow at bottom center of videos.

How do I stop/delete the captions?

        Thankss for the help.

That would likely depend on the video player app that you are using. Which is…..?

Captions appear most often in browser (Firefox) whenever a video clip is running.
