How do we know that’s a Windows laptop, and not a ChromeOS or Linux laptop?

simple! the laptop has a windows logo on the keyboard (3rd key in from lower LHS) 😛
HP got it wrong? nah, Windoze 11 is already looking like a hybrid macintux /barf
