Is it possible to index a web site served by IIS4 without the Front Page Extensions? We would like to be able to maintain our site using simple ftp, which breaks the Extensions, but would like to maintain a search function.
Also, is there a search engine other than the FP Extensions available?
Index Server is certainly a possibility, but we were wondering whether there was anything else, possibly in the public domain.
