My apologies if this is not the correct forum for this question.   I want to install Cloudready, which is a Chrome variant on an old pc.  I was just going to recycle the old laptop so I used True crypt to encrypt the drive.  I never thought I’d want to use it so I didn’t bother putting the encryption password to memory.  Now I have a use for it.  The Chromebooks my daughter keeps getting from school are all junk.  So I wanted to try Cloudready.  I’m guessing True Crypt will keep the encrypted pc from booting from a flash drive.  So is this old pc a paperweight without the password?  True Crypt is no longer supported so I can’t ask them.  Thanks
