        As I am very hard of hearing( as a result of R&R drummer in 60’s) This looks like a handy tool. ie I cannot hear my doorbell- will this drain battery over time ?

        will this drain battery over time ?

        Nothing that you will notice as the mic is anyway always on like when Siri is on.
