I’m looking for a cradle for an iPhone (I’m not sure which model; it is medium width, as far as iPhones go) which has guides on the side and bottom, and a built-in lightning connector on the bottom. The purpose of this cradle is to make it easy for my elderly mother-in-law to simply slide her phone into the cradle at night, so she can charge the phone. She has dementia and is therefore not capable of plugging in the lightning charging wire, so the guides need to direct the phone in exactly the right way so as to make the built-in lightning plug connect every time with no problem.

Some adjustability on the guides would be nice, so that we can make it fit her phone precisely.

I have looked everywhere, but I haven’t found anything like this. Anyone know of such a product?

Her phone is too old to support NFC charging; we either need to buy her a new phone or figure out how to make it easy for her to plug in this one.

        You mean wireless charging ?

There are wireless charging pads that you just out your iPhone on.

She has an iPhone 7, which doesn’t support wireless charging.

I ordered a charging case and a charger. I’ll report back here once we have used it a bit.
